station , Nearest rail head is Kathgodam which is 34 kms from
Nainital, Regular trains are running to Kathgodam from mejor
cities of India like : Bagh Express from Howrah runs daily from
Howrah (Kolkata) to Kathgodam ( Journey time two days ). The
Sampark Kranti Express runs daily from Delhi to Kathgodam
station ( Journey time 7 hrs). Ranikhet Express also have a
regular run from Delhi to Kathgodam ( 7 hours). Taxies are
available from Kathgodam to Nainital ( Drop Charges Rs.700-800/-
per car ). We provide provide pick & drop from Kathgodam on
extra cost, Driver carries a pla card of your name at Station .
Though shared taxies are available @ Rs.50/- per person
Kathgodam to Nainital.
Nainital by Road: Nainital is connected with al cities by
regular bus services from Delhi.The buses are owned and operated
by Uttarakhand Roadways. Buses are available from Anand Vihar
ISBT Delhi.The journey time is approximately 7-8 hours. There
two road options from Delhi to NAinital , First driving on
National Highway (NH) 24 to Muradabad -Rampur. After Rampur the
traveler has to take NH 87 to reach Nainital. Second option:
Delhi to Muradabad -Left Turn to Kashipur Road- Right turn to
Bajpur Road- Kaladunghi- Khurpatal - Nainital ( 15 Kms short
route).
Nainital by Air: The nearest airport to Nainital is
Pant Nagar , Which is approximately 2 hours from Nainital. Only
one airline company-Jagson Airlines operates commercial
passenger aircraft in this route.
