Devi and Naina Devi temple is situated right on Naini Lake near flats,
It is said that eye of Deity Sati fell here at Nainital ( Naini Lake)
and Temple of Naina Devi was built near Lake, Tibbetan Shopping market
is situated besides Naina Devi Temple.
Astronomical Observatory Nainital : Astronomical
Observatory is 9 Kms away from Nainital and situated at Manora peak,
Views from Manora peaks are are awesome of Nainital hills & valley,
Tourists can go on foot to Manora hills too ( 1 kms), Observatory was
established in year 1955 to perform research in astrophysics etc., One
has to take permission in advance to visit telescope to view celestial
objects.
